General Information and FAQs

How do I contact the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP)?

How do I contact the Research Integrity Office (RIO)?

If you have Research Compliance Questions, please reach out to ttuhscresearchcompliance@gmail.com.

For any questions or support related to the Oversight Committee, please contact:

RIO and its Research Oversight Committees will only contact you from the emails listed below. If you receive communication from any other source claiming to represent a TTUHSC Research Committee or requesting sensitive information, do not respond. Instead, contact RIO immediately by phone or at ttuhscresearchcompliance@gmail.com

How do I contact the Clinical Research Institute (CRI)?

How do I purchase mission critical supplies for my lab or study?

Please email purchasingttuhsc@gmail.com with those items that are absolutely needed to maintain operations.

How can I access my research files?

Files and data stored on local devices may be accessible, pending your ability to sign on to your device.

Access to files and data stored in cloud-based services or on network shared drives will follow IT guidance and timelines once made available.

How do I report critical issues related to ongoing experiments or research projects?

Please contact ttuhscresearchoffice@gmail.com to notify our office. We will work with your chair and other school support as well as institutional partners to resolve.

Specific purchasing needs do need to be directed to purchasingttuhsc@gmail.com

Can I access cloud-based services or external storage as a workaround?

Personal accounts can be used for temporary storage during outages, provided the files or data contain no Public Health Information (PHI) or identifiable information.

The Principal Investigator (PI) is responsible for all aspects of research, including the collection, transmission, storage, backup and security of data. That is, the PI is responsible for ensuring that research data is secure when it is collected, stored, transmitted or shared. Therefore, it is recommended that the PI reach out to IT for suitable temporary options outside of the TTUHSC-approved storage and management options. Also, the Office of Research recommends that PIs consult any applicable Clinical Trial Agreements (Sponsorship Agreements), grant documents and/or Data Use Agreements that have specific requirements for data security and use.
