How do I access the SHP application?

If you are applying for one of the following School of Health Professions programs, please complete the appropriate CAS application. Once you start your CAS application, you will receive a personalized email (from the TTUHSC School of Health Professions) containing a link to complete the TTUHSC Supplemental application. You can access your application through the Application Status Portal.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy
• Doctor of Occupational Therapy
• Master of Physician Assistant Studies
• Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology
• Master of Athletic Training

All other SHP Program Applicants:

If you have submitted your application and are only pending submission of application materials, you can access your application through the Application Status Portal.

If you have started but not submitted your application, you can access your application through the Application Portal.

If you are a new applicant and are ready to start an application, please visit the Application Portal.

I cannot access my application.  Will I still be considered for admission?

Our application systems are restored. October 1 application deadlines impacted have been extended. The new deadlines are in the chart above. All other application deadlines will remain the same.

How can I get my transcripts to you for application review?

Transcripts can be submitted electronically, mailed to the address below or submitted in person. Please review the details below for additional information.

Electronic Delivery

Applicants must submit official electronic transcripts directly from the institution or third-party processing center to shp.application@ttuhsc.edu.

  • Applicants must submit official transcripts of college coursework from all colleges attended, utilizing one of the options above. The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is separate from Texas Tech University. Do not send transcripts to Texas Tech University, as this will delay the processing of your application.
  • Please note, official transcripts from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center are not required. Official transcripts from Texas Tech University are required.
  • Transcripts from any international college or university must have an official course-by-course evaluation from a Foreign Transcript Evaluation Service.
  • The applicant’s responsibility is to ensure all required application materials, including updated transcripts, are submitted before the application deadline for each program.
